FAQ

What engines does this kit fit?
This kit fits 1993 and later Yamaha 115–130HP 90° V4 outboards with the 6R5 block and 23mm wrist pins.

Why are there port and starboard pistons?
The V4 uses side-specific pistons, so the kit includes two of each. Install each piston on its matching cylinder bank.

Do I need to bore my cylinders?
Yes. The pistons are .020" oversize, so the cylinders must be bored and honed to 3.564".
