FAQ
What engines does this kit fit?
This kit fits 2000–2008 Yamaha 150–200HP V6 HPDI 2.6L outboards. It does not fit the 3.3L HPDI.
Why are there port and starboard pistons?
The V6 uses side-specific pistons, so the kit includes three of each. Install each piston on its matching cylinder bank.
Do I need to bore my cylinders?
Yes. The pistons are .020" oversize, so the cylinders must be bored and honed to 3.564".
