What This Kit is Used For
This service kit provides the parts for the 100-hour maintenance on Mercury Racing 500R 4.6L V8 outboards. It does not include engine oil or gear lube, so you can choose your preferred fluids.
Recommended fluids are Mercury 10W-30 Full Synthetic or Mercury 10W-30 MRX Racing Oil (approximately 7 quarts / 2 gallons) and Mercury Extreme Performance 85W-90 gear lube (approximately 1 quart).
